St Pius X School

 Dish Network Installation Scheduler.  In a little over three years, a Dish Network installer's business had grown from a one-person operation to more than half a dozen installers and sales reps in four states! Growth like that is good, but with it came a lot of extra paperwork. The office manager—deciding to "work smarter, not harder"—turned to GPC for help with an inventory and installation tracking application.

 St Pius X School Attendance and Hot Lunch Reporting.  St X Pius X School, a small Catholic School in Mountlake Terrace, WA, had been keeping attendance and hot lunch records by hand for many years. In 2002, a computer network was installed in the school, creating the opportunity for an automated system of tracking and reporting attendance and hot lunch requests. Grover Park Consulting was given the task of creating the database to do this.

After studying the school’s requirements for input and reporting, GPC  recommended a blended solution using an MS Access^® database for input and storage and MS Excel^® for reporting.GPC  designed, created, tested and installed the Database and Pivot Tables on the school network. GPC  created on-line documentation for the application. George Hepworth, GPC's principal owner, then met with teachers to provide initial training.
